It's hard to believe the holiday season is now upon us. I love Thanksgiving. The time with the family, and of course all of the yummy goodies that everyone fixes. Then the football games, the parades, light up nights....there's just so much to love an enjoy this time of year. I know I have slowed down on designing, and I've got to do more. I really miss it !! :( It crazy how fast time goes by. I've had this design for a while now, but this is a new item in my store. It's perfect for a chilly evening.

It's so chilly here this morning. I know, it's November, but I'm not ready for it. It's a good day, to snuggle up with pillow, a blanket, and Netflix. This pillow makes me think of the beach. Wouldn't it be nice to be there right now? The waves rolling in, and a warm breeze in the air.

I can't believe how crazy things have gotten since the summer is winding down. I am still snapping lots of photos, but i haven't been as productive as I should have been, so I'm not seeing the results that I would like from the sites that I have been a part of. I found a different one, that allows designers to set up their own stores. I'm excited about this opportunity, and very happy about all of the different options for sale. Time flies by...

I have been super busy...with life, and photography. Summer is winding down, and it's hard to believe that Christmas is only four months away !! This summer flew by, but soon it will be time for campfires, hoodies, and pumpkin everything, everywhere !! :D I have a few new ones for you today.

I love this on as a purse, or bag. It's my favorite so far.

Just finished working on this one, and I am very happy with how it turned out. It's called Lovely Lilith, and it's a little spooky, and dark. Just in time for Halloween. This design looks amazing on T shirts, hoodies, cell phone cases, pillow, and even as a shower curtain.

Texture in photography

Have you ever taken a photo and been amazed by the texture that shows up? I always look for texture...in everything. The sand at the beach, the pattern in a grain of wood, or even the leather on an old saddle. It's everywhere. I captured a good one yesterday when we were out hiking. I was trying to be careful walking because of the uneven ground, and when I looked down, I saw a beautiful butterfly. I love this one as,

Sunsets

Sunsets are always beautiful. The reds, yellows, and oranges are almost always breathtaking. I've taken a lot of pictures of sunsets, and I'm going to share some of my favorites here. This one, was taken in northern Tennessee. This one was taken at Presque Isle State Park, in Erie, Pennsylvania. This one was taken in eastern Ohio. It's colors aren't as bold as the others, but it's still beautiful.

In the country

Pennsylvania is a beautiful state full of rolling hills, interesting people, machines, nature, and so much more.This past weekend I got many interesting shots from various places,in the country.

I love summer,and there is nothing better than a nice, warm evening and as you look to the west you notice the sun is starting to set. It's just beautiful. All the colors, and definitely worth capturing. Beach sunsets are amazing...one of my favorites. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to see this one while walking back to the car. I looked out through the trees, and this is what I saw. It was amazing....      What inspires you as a photographer? Is it your family, your pets, or nature?  A random flower, or weed, or even the littlest thing that might catch your eye.  Anything can be a good shot, with the right lighting, and a little patience.  These are a few of the things that have inspired me recently.
