Texture in photography

Have you ever taken a photo and been amazed by the texture that shows up? I always look for texture...in everything. The sand at the beach, the pattern in a grain of wood, or even the leather on an old saddle. It's everywhere. I captured a good one yesterday when we were out hiking.
